Happy Thanksgiving to all of my U.S. friends in the Flex community. I have a lot to be thankful for this year in both my professional life as well as my personal life. I am also very thankful to all of those at Adobe for all of the success I have already had using Flex 2.

Those of you who have read this blog in the past probably know that I am a big fan of Mac OSX and my MacBook. Some of you also may know that I have a daughter who loves to play with the Photo Booth application that ships with OSX. Those of you who are in the windows world exclusively may not have seen the app. You are going to have to find one of your friends with a Mac to see it OR you could just run the Flex version that I created. OK, it is not a perfect copy of the original, but it certainly gets the point across and is a pretty neat little app.
You will need a webcam attached to use the app. Once you launch it be sure to visit the effects panels to filter the video stream and take some funky snap shots. You can then download them as well.
Please leave you comments and ask any questions you may have on how something may have been accomplished. I would love to port this to Apollo if I were in the beta. Hint Hint Adobe
